new Delhi. Several associations associated with Bollywood and about 34 filmmakers have approached the Delhi High Court against two channels in the country. They have been accused of wrongly reporting crime. The filmmakers sought to prevent both these channels from publishing alleged irresponsible and derogatory comments towards the film industry. The suit has been filed against Republic TV, Times Now and its top face. The Bollywood Association has approached the Delhi High Court demanding justice.
Bollywood filmmakers have filed a lawsuit in the Delhi High Court against “irresponsible reporting by some media houses” in the latest case probing the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. The petition has been filed by Karan Johar, Yash Raj, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan’s production companies, four film industry associations and 34 producers.
The lawsuit filed by DSK legal firm said that the move was taken because these channels were using extremely derogatory words for Bollywood. He described Bollywood as filthy and such things need to be cleaned of the filth spread in Bollywood, not all Arabian perfumes can remove the smell of filth, it is the dirtiest industry in the country and LSD and cocaine are loaded in Bollywood.
